An Unsent Letter To My Bestfriend

Hi,

My mom recently completed 25 years of friendship with her 3 best friends and that made me realize if I can get a best friend with whom I can share that ,with whom I can finally be myself because let’s face it,everyone judges.EVERYONE.

This is a letter to my almost best friends at different stages of my life which I never sent out.

1. 21 years on earth, Life taught me that one will have best friend at every stage of life but one would be luckiest if they have the same best friend in all stages and I thought you would be the one. How wrong I was, at every stage!

2. I was there and wanted to be there for you in your good and bad times but the way you ignored me made me blame something was wrong with me that maybe I can never have a best friend .

3. I wanted that gossip sessions,shopping rituals,drunken nights,hangover breakfasts,going on trips,saving each other from crazy ex’s but it took me a long time to realize that something like this can only be seen in series like Gossip Girl,Pretty Little Liars and oh so rare to find in real life.

4. The funny thing is I am sort of thankful to you,if it wasn’t for you I would never have realized how addicting loneliness can be and once you get used it,believe me you don’t want to mingle again.

5. One thing I have never stopped is searching for my best friend at every stage of life,some have come close to being one and some have shown me how not be one but above all I never lost hope of not finding my best friend and believe me if I find her,she better be ready for life time supply of free desserts,cuddles,boy advises,daaru,pep talks and above all a person who would be her sister from another mister.

Hope you already have one friend of that sorts,if not I hope you find one.
