What does Adulting mean? According to Google, it means the practice of behaving in a way characteristic of a responsible adult.

But when do you become an adult? And how do you know you have become an adult?

Is it when you had

your first sip of beer with your

dad or when you took care of your

sibling or when you got your first salary

or when you cooked for the

entire family.

Is it when you paid your bills or live all

alone or when you had to do

your own laundry.

Is it when you traveled all alone

or when your parents thought

you are old enough to go to

parties without a curfew.

Is it when you had your first

heartbreak or when you realized that

all you have in life are 4-5

real friends and the rest are

the people whom you

socialize with.

Is it when you achieve your goal and don't

feel the need to put it

on your Instagram story or when you

realized that love is not enough

for a person to stay.

Is it when you realized that

heartbreak doesn't mean you stop

living your life or is it when you

realize that self-love is more

romantic than any other

relationship you ever heard.

Is it when you realized that

you don't need to talk to

your friends daily or

when you understood that

shit happens in life and all

you can do is be wise

enough to not repeat it.

Everyone realizes that they grew up at different points in their life.

But I think Adulting is doing all this and not giving up.
